Why take a nude vacation?

Why would anyone spend money to just take off their clothes? Maybe it's just to get rid of tan lines or to relax in a natural state. The reasons for taking a vacation on a nude beach can be different for each person. Here are some of the most common ones for people to vacation bare.

For many, the feeling of being nude is relaxing. If you have ever skinny-dipped as a child or even as an adult, you probably remember those feelings of freedom and excitement that came with feeling the water, sun and air all over your body. Compare that with a soggy, itchy, cold, dripping wet swimsuit. You also don't have to worry about packing so much hence, less laundry and less luggage.

Another reason for people to strip their clothes is to strip away societal symbols of status and social class distinctions. They also believe it also allows you the chance to form social relationships based on character rather than appearance.

Nude vacations come in family packages however, some simply take them because they find the experience very erotic and it frees them from societal restraints. To be nude in a natural setting is to be one with nature or so some believe. Others consider it symbolic of stripping away the wrongs of the world and being bare before God. For those who hold these philosophies, a nudist vacation on the beach can be a very uplifting spiritual experience.

Whatever the reasons people initially find for taking a vacation on a nudist beach, the outcome is generally the same - Most enjoy the freedom they find here and often end up returning.
